Snowbird Policy

Program Requirements

  • Only residential accounts are eligible for the snowbird program.
  • To cease billing, you must agree for your water service to be turned off for a minimum of 3 consecutive months.
  • Winterization of plumbing inside the home is highly recommended, but will be the decision and responsibility of the homeowner.
  • A Snowbird Application (PDF) must be completed and submitted to the Utility Billing Office at least one business day prior to the date of requested turn-off. To submit online please Click Here.
  • To have water turned back on, the resident must contact the Utility Billing Office at least one business day prior to the date of requested turn-on.
  • No charges are associated with turning the water service off and on for snowbirds.
