On the 2nd Saturday of each month, the City of Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department chips limbs and other woody brush on Groh Lane near Waterworks Park. For Fairfield residents who have a means of transporting their limbs, this is an excellent method of disposal that need not be scheduled in advance.
The City began the creation of a bronze sculpture collection during 2001 with the placement of several pieces of artwork within Village Green and the Town Center. Additional pieces have been added since, each depicting an aspect of Fairfield life.
A formal application must be filed and approved by the Director of Parks and Recreation Department 14-days prior to planned use of flying aerial apparatus per Section 100.20 Requirements for Aviation of the “Parks and Recreation Board Site Rules and Regulations”
