On the 2nd Saturday of each month, the City of Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department chips limbs and other woody brush on Groh Lane near Waterworks Park. For Fairfield residents who have a means of transporting their limbs, this is an excellent method of disposal that need not be scheduled in advance.

Post Office Murals
A series of murals on the Fairfield Post office honors Fairfield's past and is a legacy project from Fairfield's 50th anniversary celebration in 2005.
The City began the creation of a bronze sculpture collection during 2001 with the placement of several pieces of artwork within Village Green and the Town Center. Additional pieces have been added since, each depicting an aspect of Fairfield life.
