Please consider these general eligibility requirements for donating blood:
- Donors must be in general good health
- Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with a CBC consent form signed by your parent)
- Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds
- Have a photo ID (It's helpful to also have your CBC Donor ID card)
- Before donating, you should:
- Get a good night's sleep
- Eat a nourishing meal
- Drink plenty of fluids
