Boy Scout Troop 967 gets the credit for the nice look of the landscape around the Fairfield Post Office this summer.

On Sunday, June 9, members of the troop planted flowers and bushes as part of The Fairfield Historical Society's annual landscape project for the Post Office. 

Fairfield resident Gwen Ritchie is overseeing this project for the Historical Society. She is also a member of the City's Parks and Recreation Board.

Councilmember Debbie Pennington is a past president of the Fairfield Historical Society and currently an active member.
