[ARCHIVED] Fairfield Lane Public Library is getting a makeover!

library

Fairfield Lane Library is getting a makeover! Access to services will be limited starting August 21 for about four weeks. Valerie Simmons, Branch Manager, has this to say about the process:

"I'm excited to announce that the Fairfield Lane Library is entering into a remodeling project to paint and carpet the entire library building. New furniture has already been purchased and installed in the main library area. In addition, the Children's room will be getting a remodel with all new furniture. The main area will receive new paint and carpet first, then we will focus on the Children's room remodel."

To make the carpet and paint process as quick as possible and to limit the impact on patrons, access to the inside of the building will be limited beginning Aug. 21 for about four weeks. During this time, the following services will be available:
• Full drive-thru service for all regularly scheduled hours
• Material return slots on the exterior of the building will remain open
• Phone service will connect to the Circulation, Reference, and Children’s Departments during all regularly scheduled hours
• Wi-Fi, accessible on the veranda
• Programming will continue, mostly off site. Please call the library at (513) 858-3238 for program location information during this time
• A selection of materials will be available on the veranda during Village Green community events such as the Farmer’s Market or Groovin’ on the Green (weather permitting).
