Fairfield City Council is accepting applications from residents who are interested in serving in volunteer roles on the boards and commissions that exist to plan and oversee a variety of City services. 

Effective April 1, 2019, the following positions will be open for appointment: 

BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS (1)

CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION (1)

CULTURAL ARTS ADVISORY COMMISSION (3) 

DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE (2) 

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION (3)

PARKS & RECREATION BOARD (2)

PLANNING COMMISSION (2)

WARD BOUNDARY REVIEW COMMISSION (3-5)

All positions are non-compensated volunteer roles. Applicants should be residents of the City of Fairfield and should not conduct business with the City. Applications may be downloaded or completed online. They can also be obtained in the Clerk of Council’s office at the Fairfield Municipal Building, 5350 Pleasant Avenue. Application deadline is February 15, 2019.
