The city’s long-awaited dog park is under construction and on target to be completed by the summer!

Now, it’s time for it to have a name, and the City and the Parks and Recreation Department would like residents to help choose it from these four possibilities:

1. FurField

2. Furry Field

3. Ruff River

4. Woof River

Features of the 6.5 acre park will include a pond with a dock and zero-depth entry, multiple fields including a separate small dog play area, shaded gathering spaces, and plentiful parking. The park is located at 6611 River Road between Lake Circle Drive and Gray Road. In the future, the park is also set to become a trailhead of the Great Miami River Trail.
