Madcap Puppets returns to Fairfield with Aesop’s Fables, a lively, laugh-out-loud puppet performance that brings timeless stories to life.

When young Aesop is stuck babysitting his little sister Xena instead of playing ball with his friends, he has to get creative. Xena loves stories, so Aesop spins imaginative tales filled with clever characters, big laughs, and meaningful lessons.

Along the way, audiences help bring three beloved fables to life: The Tortoise and the Hare, The Lion and the Mouse, and The Boy Who Cried Wolf.

Packed with colorful puppets and interactive storytelling, this performance invites kids to laugh, participate, and discover the simple but powerful morals behind these classic tales.

Based in Cincinnati, Madcap Puppets is nationally recognized for creating engaging, educational children’s theatre inspired by world literature, perfect for young audiences and the grown-ups who bring them.
