Brian manages the maintenance of the City's buildings, and the purchasing and maintenance of the cities vehicle fleet department. Brian's oversight currently includes 10 buildings totaling over 250,000 square feet, with the focus on cleanliness, efficiency, comfort, and safety for the citizens and employees of the City of Fairfield. Brian also has oversight of 288 vehicles including police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, snow plows, back hoes, tractors, and street cleaners with a staff of four ASE certified mechanics to ensure the safety of the citizens and employees while driving Fairfield's streets.

Background
Brian began his career with the City of Fairfield in 1998 as the City's HVAC Inspector. He was promoted to his current duties in November 2010. Previously, he worked in the commercial HVAC controls field with Johnson Controls and Siemens. Brian holds an Associate in Applied Science in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from Miami University. He is licensed by the State of Ohio Board of Building Standards as a Building Official, Building Inspector, Mechanical Inspector, Electrical Safety Inspector, and Residential Building Official. He holds a contractors license in both HVAC and Electric from the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board. Brian also holds a fire alarm installation license with the State of Ohio Division of State Fire Marshal. 

Brian is a member of the American Public Works Association, NAFA Fleet Management Association, International Code Council, and the Southwest Ohio Building Officials Association.

Personal Interests/Family
Brian and his wife have two children, a daughter attending Miami University and a son in the United States Air Force. Brian enjoys spending time with his family and working out.
