Blood Drives
To ensure that adequate blood supplies are readily on hand for any emergency, the Community Blood Center, the Fairfield Fire Department and the Parks and Recreation Department sponsor periodic community blood drives at the Fire Headquarters (375 Nilles Road) and the Community Arts Center (411 Wessel Drive).

Daddy/Daughter Dance
This special evening for girls ages 3 – 12 and their fathers, grandfathers or other special male adult gives everyone the opportunity to dress up in their best and dance the night away. The fun-filled event will include dinner and dessert along with music and dancing from the DJ, crafts, and a Selfie Station (bring your own camera).

Fairfield Parade of Lights
The City of Fairfield is proud to welcome the community to celebrate the holiday season with the first ever Fairfield Parade of Lights which will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2019! The City is seeking participants for this eye-catching event! Want to be part of the 2019 Fairfield Parade of Lights? We are looking to include art and cultural organizations, schools, community groups, and City departments with illuminated floats, vehicles, performances, and more! The parade will bring together the entirety of our local community to celebrate the spirit of the winter season. We encourage everyone to visit the City of Fairfield for this unique experience. The parade will conclude with the lighting of the tree at Village Green Park.

Friday at the Green
On the fourth Friday of each month, from June – August, experience bands who will get you out of your chair and dance the night away! Sweet & Savory food trucks and draft beer will be available for purchase.

Groovin' on the Green
Bring your blanket or lawn chairs every Thursday evening and enjoy the concerts at Village Green Park. Every musical taste is satisfied in this summer-long series (between Memorial Day and Labor Day) in Village Green Park.

Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony
The Annual Memorial Day Parade features veterans groups, military units, the Fairfield High School Marching Band, community groups and organizations, the Fairfield Police Department, and Fairfield Fire and EMS units. The parade concludes at Veterans Memorial Parks with a brief ceremony to pay tribute to our veterans, both past and present.

Movies in the Park
A different movie is featured on select Fridays nights from May through September in Village Green Park. Before the movie starts at dusk, The Fairfield Fire Department offers pre-show fun for the entire family.

Hoppin' at Harbin
Join us at the Lower End Soccer Field in Harbin Park and bring out your Easter baskets so you can grab all the eggs and candy you can find! Due to popular demand, we will have more prize eggs than last year! Age group hunts are offered for children for the following ages: 2-4, 5-6, 8-10. Make sure you bring your camera for a photo op with the Easter Bunny near the Gazebo!! Schedule: 10:00 AM-11:00 AM: Visit with the Easter Bunny 11 AM: Egg Hunt *Registration is not required

Pancakes with Santa
This event is sponsored by Hammann's Catering, Deli & Butcher Shop! Santa and the elves invite the children of Fairfield to attend a special breakfast party! Breakfast includes: • 3 pancakes with butter and syrup • 1 fruit cup • 1 sausage and 1 piece of bacon • Orange juice, milk or coffee There will also be entertainment and a photo opportunity with Santa where each child will receive a special gift! Red, White & Kaboom
Fairfield’s annual Independence Day celebration on July 3 includes festivities at Harbin Park, the launch site for Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks, at Village Green Park, and at the Fairfield Aquatic Center.

Touch a Truck
On the 2nd Friday in August, kids young and old can touch, explore, and climb on the many vehicles that are on display outside the Community Arts Center.

Village Green Car Show
Classic and antique cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more are display around the Village Green campus. Live music is featured on the amphitheater stage and food is available for purchase.

Foodies can shop for locally-grown produce, meat, baked goods, allergy-friendly foods, eggs, handcrafted artisan goods, and more!
